Frills and Flounce, the Newest Release Rejouir

Big gowns offer so much pomp and circumstance. When I wear them, I often imagine myself traveling back in time to other eras when the women were dressed in the finest silk and taffeta and other fabrics I've never owned in this life.

Three colors of this gown are available now in the store, Nightfall, Whimsy and Sunrise (shown in picture above). You'll find several layers comprise the skirt with the top layer made of small specks of color that float around you as you walk.

And there is a hair piece also made of the same speckled material. On the top photo, made wearing Sunrise, I inverted the head piece so it became a veil. On the lower photo, I combined two dress colors, the Sunrise top and the Nightfall skirts. You can also see the head piece the way it was designed.

Another Beautiful Weekend in Spring

It's my favorite time of year. I love seeing all the new and glorious colors that nature creates for us. With the blossoms of the season setting the mood, designers pull paints out, a fresh canvas, and create all sorts of beautiful things.

The Papillon Mesh Dress

Never too late to announce something new at Snowpaws! A new arrival came to Snowpaws a little less than a week ago (4.5.2013). I love it when Carrie goes on holiday. When she returns, she always seems to have fresh eyes and her creativity in high gear.

This sexy little number fits perfectly into your Spring wardrobe. Whether you're on a date, out shopping with friends or ready for a night of clubbing, you'll feel sexier as soon as you put it on and everyone will notice that.

Two Stunning New Releases

This evening, I had the chance to take a series of photos showcasing two new releases at Snowpaws.

I went out to an event and was mesmerized by the large walls around the back balcony that took me to another place and time.

This sexy dress, the Ava Dress, has so much sexy, fun and flirtation. It was a perfect outfit to wear to the club.

It was fun to send a quick message to a dear friend, "Can you believe I'm relaxing at a dance and NOT working."

After the club, I changed dresses and put on the Harlow Form Fitting Dress. Again, this dress screams elegant sexy.

I haven't taken any photos at Snowpaws, so I thought it would be fun to do so this evening. The little green area in the store with a tree and flowers made me think of Central Park.

Snowpaws presents a wonderfully professional location, laid out in a way that the wide open space gives you plenty of room to shop.

But then here in the middle, a little of the outdoors adds life and light, much like Central Park adds life and light to the huge concrete city.

This Week at Snowpaws

It's been a fantastic week at Snowpaws, with special events, charity investment and a fashion show. There was a new release and participation in several fun events as well. All normal Snowpaws fare, and always fun as well!

The Royal Mesh Onyx Gown makes its debut in the main store after taking part in the Fashion for Life fundraiser. You can get this beautiful gown in four stunning colors, Onyx (seen above), Sapphire, Rose and Burgundy. It's rich style lends an elegance to the basic mesh shape by perfect placement of wonderfully textured prims.

If you're one of the Lola Tango fans or you're dating someone who just adores them on you, this hunt is perfect for you. It's running for two more weeks, so there is still time to find the prize hidden at Snowpaws.

Snowpaws joins with many charity events year round and one of those events is the SL Buddy Walk. Visit http://slbuddywalk.org/ to learn more about this fund raiser and how your donations/purchases help raise funds and awareness to aid those who have Downs Syndrome and their families.

.theevent. asked for a specific type of participation. Designers were asked to create new looks based on costumes and clothes from their favorite movies or television shows. You'll find items from Snowpaws at this event that runs through April 14.

Spring Is In The Air

This weekend, Snowpaws participates in a fashion show that's been put together by a fantastic staff at Model's Workshop.

A remarkable number of women and men with a great deal of experience work with Monica Balut, the owner of Model's Workshop, and together they've choreographed and styled and paced and rehearsed. Additionally, they've taken novice models who eagerly seek the chance to model under their wings, mentoring, lending an extra hand, extra time and touch. All that means this show exudes positive impact on many levels. It's just the sort of thing Carrie Snowpaw volunteers to encourage. Along with Snowpaws, 69 Park Avenue, Glam Dreams and House of Eliot all show their Spring collections.
